Believed or not

Crib that helps your child sleep peacefully is the crib that helps you sleep peacefully.

Buying a baby crib is a big investment for parents like us. With many safety standards and features to keep in mind, mommy and daddy want the best baby crib to ensure their love’s get sufficient rest for healthy growth and development.

Please note that there are several factors to consider before buying a baby crib

  • #1 Toxin-Free Materials – Popular brand crib are designed to be stylish modern, but not all designs are safe. The most common material found on bad quality cribs includes the toxin polyurethane or material that have volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that spread toxic fume. We always suggest mommys and daddys look for cribs made with 100% solid wood and non-toxic finish.
  • #2 Standard Slat Distance – The space between each slat in the baby crib should be no more than 2 ⅜ inches ( 6 cm ). There’s a higher risk of the baby’s arms and legs or even head getting stuck in between them if the slats are further apart. We always recommend parents to measure the slat distance before buying the any crib.
  • #3 Height of the mattress – Be sure the crib you select has at least few adjustable mattress setting. You will want a higher mattress setting that allows you to easily scoop them up when your child is an infant, but as your baby grows, you should be able to lower the mattress setting so they can’t climb out when there isn’t any supervision.
  • #4 Convertible crib? – A lot of parents ask should we go for regular or convertible crib? Well, it really depends on your needs. For example sometimes these 3-in-1 cribs do require certain conversion kits to morph into different setups, and those may required purchased at an additional cost. Some parents prefer to just use small crib throughout the babyhood before transitioning their child right to a full-sized bed. This is handy if the baby sleep in multiple different locations or if you have limited space.
